2010 BEEF & VEGGIE CSA
For those
customers who participated in our 2009 CSA, thank you! We appreciate
your friendship, business, and feedback. Based on that, we made changes to improve the
program for everyone!
Once again, we are working with our neighbors
Hidden Springs Farms
to offer all customers shares of Beef, Pet Treats, Vegetables, Eggs and Herbs for 5 months!
CSA delivery starts June 1st and ends in October. We limit our CSA so we can manage inventory and maintain great customer service.
It will be first come/first served.
PRODUCT & PRICING
GOURMET PASTURE BEEF SHARES
Beef CSA includes the following each month for 5 months for $450
- 10lb ground beef (in 1 lb packages)
- 1 Roast + Recipe
- 2 Steaks
PLUS...you will receive two boxes of 30 burgers, one before July 4th and one before Labor Day!
Pet Treat CSA includes 8 lbs of pet treats each month for 5 months for $50
HIDDEN SPRINGS FARMS SHARESVegetable CSA includes a selection of produce that is ready to harvest and will feed 2 hungry adults or a small family for $475.
Herb CSA will include a variety of herbs along with some information on how to use them for $40.
Egg CSA will include half a dozen eggs each week for $25.
All 5 shares would cost $1,040 total. If you choose all 5 shares: get a $50 discount on the total making it $990. (this total does not include tax or optional beef delivery fee)
PAYMENT METHODS
To
secure your share, a deposit of 25% of the total is required for the Beef/Pet shares. The remainder of the amount can be paid in full by June 1st or
split into two payments one due June 1st and the other August 1st.
Note that sales tax has not been added to the above pricing.

DELIVERY OPTIONS
1. PICKUP: You can pick up your Beef and Pet treats the first and third week of each month. (we will post dates soon). You can pick up your Veggies, Eggs and Herbs EVERY week. All pickups will be Thursday or Saturday at the following locations/times:
- Thursday: Dorris Milling in Springfield from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
- Saturday: Robertson County Farmer's Market
2. DELIVERY: For the beef and pet treats only!
You can have monthly delivery to your home for an additional $50.00 for the entire CSA. We will work with you to figure out the best day to deliver each month.

Notes:
Refund Policy: We regret that we cannot offer refunds once the CSA has started on June 1st. If you would like to find someone to take your share, you can sub-let it out.
Late Comers: If shares have not been picked up by end day on Saturday, you will forfeit your share for that week. If you have a scheduling issue, please let us know and we will work with you.
Transporting your Beef: Your beef is frozen so if you are not going home, you need to bring a cooler with you for pickup. You will receive your beef in a recycled bag. We will have 3 bags purchased for each share. We can't afford to buy a bag for each share for each week, that would be approximately 2000 bags. Please plan to bring your bags back each week.
